Looking for a local spot to go for the day? New Jersey has some of the best day trip locations! With the ongoing rise of Covid-19, many places have been shut down or put under restrictions. However, many sites have followed CDC guidelines for a safe opening to protect their visitors. Not sure where to start? Here are the Best Places to “Day Trip” in New Jersey: 

1. Liberty State Park: Located in Jersey City, NJ, Liberty State Park has almost four million visitors a year! This 1,212 acres of land has views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and Manhattan. If you’re in the mood to learn some history, Liberty State Park offers a look at the Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal, the “Empty Sky” 9/11 Memorial, and more historical information at the lands of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. 2. Jenkinson’s Boardwalk: Looking for a place to go with family and friends, Jenkinson’s Boardwalk has you covered! Just a short drive away in Point Pleasant Beach, you could be sitting and tanning on the beach in no time! The activities are fun for all ages, especially the two miniature golf places located on each side of the one-mile boards! Play games at the arcades, win prizes, and have fun at the aquarium too!
3. Six Flags Great Adventure: A place for you and your family to enjoy, Six Flags has tons of activities you can do! Located in Jackson, NJ, this amusement park has theme parks and water parks all around the property. You can see tigers, giraffes, lions, and many more animals at the Wild Safari Drive-Thru, which is also Covid friendly! Throughout the entire year, Six Flags has tons of events to make your experience 10 times better!
