The NFL postseason is drawing to a close as the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers head to the 55th Super Bowl. The Chiefs secured their position by defeating the Buffalo Bills on October 19th. Kansas City won 26 to 17 against the Bills, who have yet to win a Super Bowl. The Buccaneers beat the Green Bay Packers on October 18th by a narrower total of five points. The final score was 31 to 26. Returning to yet another Super Bowl is the Buccaneers’ quarterback Tom Brady. Whether you love him or hate him, the former Patriot standout holds the record for most Super Bowl wins and has had an incredibly successful career. The 43-year-old quarterback will be matched against 26-year-old Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes had been in the NFL since 2017 and has already quickly risen to fame. While with the Chiefs, he won the 2019-2020 Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers. He is also the youngest person to have received the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player award. As experts weigh in on game predictions, they believe it will be a close and competitive game. Most experts, however, predict the Chiefs are going to win. The game will take place on Sunday, February 7th in Tampa Bay, Florida. Due to COVID-19 concerns, there will be a limited number of fans allowed in the stadium. The amount of spectators is typically 70,000, but this year, it will include 14,000 ticket payers and 7,500 vaccinated health care workers. This Super Bowl Sunday will be extremely interesting to watch considering two of the league’s best quarterbacks will be eyeing up the trophy.
