Teen sensation and star of Disney’s “High School Musical, The Musical (HSMTM)”, has released a new song, “Drivers License.” Olivia Rodrigo’s hit song was released on January 8, 2021; the song recounts her heartbreak over a romantic relationship with co-star on HSMTM, Joshua Bassett. 

At 17 years old, Rodrigo has already entered the music world with Driver’s License at Number 1 on the Hot 100 for three weeks.  In this time, it has also topped Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts. She is one of the only women to do so since the beginning of Global 200. The song also accumulated over 100 million streams in three weeks. From her beginnings on Disney Channel, to her record-breaking song, the name Olivia Rodrigo will not be going away any time soon.
