Salt Lake City Reaches Record-Cold Temperatures

Salt Lake City, a city in Utah with historically higher temperatures, dropped to 19º F on Monday, Oct. 26.  This was the lowest temperature Salt Lake City had recorded for the past 142 years.  The previous record sat at 22º F in 1878.  Despite the higher temperatures in the this city, Utah has been known to record temperatures down to below zero.
