It may be a new year, but you could still find this month’s entertainment here! Whether you enjoy reading books from your favorite author, watching entertaining movies, or catching up on your favorite TV shows, entertainment is a large part of our daily lives. It’s the month of resolutions and midterms, which could be extremely stressful. To relieve your mind, here are some great forms of entertainment to look out for this month!
Books:
The Wicked King (The folk of Air #2) by Holly Black
The second installment to the Cruel Prince series continues Jude’s story, dealing with Cardan and the rest or the Faerie world that Holly Black has built. I have not yet read the first book, but because this series is so highly rated and a New York Times Bestselling series, I’m excited to start reading.

An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks

The Gilded Wolves (The Gilded Wolves #1) by Roshani Chokshi
In 1889 Paris, Séverine Montagnet-Alaire, a treasure-hunter and wealthy hotelier, is offered his true inheritance for help to find an ancient artifact by a powerful society called the Order of Babel. With help from “An engineer with a debt to pay. A historian who can’t yet go home. A dancer with a sinister past. And a brother in all but blood, who might care too much.” (Goodreads.com) they could hunt this artifact down.

This is Us (Part 2 Premiere)
Season three, part two is finally back on January 15th after a break from the 1st half. If you’re a devoted fan, be sure to tune in on NBC at 9:00 PM.
Riverdale (Part 2 Premiere)
Riverdale is back, Wednesday January 16th after it’s break before the second half. Tune in on the CW at 8:00 PM.
Star Trek: Discovery
This CBS All Access show returns January 17th for it’s second season.
Movies:
A Dog’s Way Home
Based on the novel A Dog’s Way Home, and from the same author as A Dog’s Purpose comes another film. Bella runs away from her owner while chasing a squirrel and is confronted with the realization that she must find her way back home through a difficult journey.

Replicas
From the writers of The Passengers and Transformers, a neuroscientist who is working on re-creating the human brain for Alzheimer’s research uses his work to replicate his family members after they pass away in a car accident.
