The Class of 2018 Announces its Valedictorian

The entire IHA community and especially the Class of 2018 is thrilled to announce their class valedictorian: Cassandra Mitsinikos. Cassie has truly left her mark on the school throughout her four years. In addition to her exceptional academic achievements as a member of IHA’s STEM program, Cassie has served IHA as the Christian Service Board’s Drive Coordinator, Secretary of the National Honor Society, an Eagle Ambassador, and as a member of the National Science Honor Society. Outside of school, Cassie spends a great deal of time volunteering and dances ballet up to twenty hours a week. Anyone who knows her cannot help but smile when near her positive energy and kind heart.

In the fall, Cassie will be attending Johns Hopkins University where she plans to study materials science and engineering. After graduating, she hopes to help develop new renewable energy technologies in an effort to end climate change. The Class of 2018 is honored to know and love such a wonderful and deserving classmate. Congratulations Cassie!
