With Christmas quickly approaching, Freeform has released their “25 Days of Christmas” schedule for the 2016 Christmas season. The network has previously changed its name from “ABC Family” to “Freeform”, but luckily for many viewers, it has not changed their “25 Days of Christmas” event.

2016 marks the 20th year of the “25 Days of Christmas” programming that millions of viewers tune in to watch throughout the month of December.  This holiday programming is cable’s biggest event of the year, and will feature both modern and classic holiday movies from December 1st up to and including Christmas Day.

The channel will show many viewer’s Christmas favorites, including The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Polar Express, Elf, Disney’s A Christmas Carol, and many more. The network is also adding a few new items to its lineup, among them Snow Buddies and Just Friends. Freeform will begin its event with Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory at 3:30 pm on December 1st, and will wrap things up with Scrooged (1998) at 9:55p.m. on Christmas day.

Now, it is even easier to tune into “25 Days of Christmas” because of the Freeform app. With the app, viewers can watch their favorite Christmas movies on their Apple or Android devices.

This nearly month long event makes it easy to get into the holiday spirit. So grab your cup of hot chocolate, throw on your favorite Christmas sweater, and gather with friends to tune in and watch what many consider the most wonderful time of the year!

The entire programming schedule is available on the Freeform website.
