Even though we are in the midst of a heat wave, autumn is rapidly approaching as IHA girls get back into the swing of studying, sports, and clubs. It is the beginning of the year and with it comes many exciting opportunities to make new friends, discover new interests and talents, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
The seniors are preparing for college next year, while roaming the familiar halls of IHA and attempting to savor every moment in our new cardigans, regardless of the sweltering temperature outside. The juniors and sophomores are excited to return and catch up with friends about summer adventures. The freshman are learning the ropes of their new school while finding their way to class, and occasionally asking for directions while distinguishing between room numbers and class codes.
This year, Accents is once again excited to bring you the news you need to know from IHA and beyond. We are committed to creating a quality online publication that will be your road map for the year. We are very excited to go to print again this year.
If you have any news you would like us to know about, please let us know by emailing accents@ihanj.com. If you have achieved something great, know of a new club or activity taking place at school, or would like to join our staff or guest write, we would love to hear what you have to tell the IHA community.
I hope everyone has a great school year and continues to read Accents to keep up to date on all things IHA. Remember to follow Accents on Twitter and be sure to create a short cut on your computer and phone so you can check every week for new articles and polls.
