Have you ever wanted to travel to Europe but just didn’t have the funds? Now is your chance.
European Airline, Ryanair, is now offering discount flights as low as $15 from Europe to fourteen American cities and vice versa.
“European consumers want lower cost travel to the U.S.A. and the same for Americans coming to Europe,” head of communications Robin Kiely said. “We see it as a logical development in the European market.”
If this sounds too good to be true, it’s because it is. First, these flights will not be available until 2020. Also, passengers will end up spending much more than the $15 base fare. With additional charges for reserving a seat, baggage, and passenger tax, the prices will increase significantly.
Ryanair is not the first airline to provide inexpensive flights. Within recent years, airlines such as Eos Airlines, MAXjet, and Silverjet have all attempted to underprice, but failed.
