Season 3 of Orange is the New Black is set to air in June, but there will be some slight changes to the cast.

Fans of the Netflix series, Orange Is The New Black, have received exciting news this week. The release date for season three of the fan- favorite show has been set for June 12, 2015!

The new season has come along with a few changes to the cast and the appearances of certain famous characters. First off, Larry, Piper Chapman’s ex-fiancé, will not star in season 3. The show has gone in a different direction away from the relationship between Larry and Piper, but that does not mean he will not appear in future seasons.

In addition, Mendez’s screen time will be cut down as he serves his time in prison. But, his mother, played by Mary Steenburgen, has joined the cast and will appear for the first time.

Although many characters may have decreasing parts, some new characters have been introduced to the cast. Australian actress, Ruby Rose, will be a new inmate at the Danbury prison. Also, Mike Birbiglia has been added to the Orange Is The New Black cast as an unknown character.

The new season will come with some major changes, but it is sure to be as great as the past seasons.
