Royalty is arriving in the Big Apple on December 7th when Kate Middleton and Prince William begin their 3-day trip in New York City. The pair will be travelling without their one-year-old son, Prince George, for this trip. They will be staying through December 9th and will be visiting both New York and Washington DC.
According to E! News “This will be the first visit by either of their Royal Highnesses to both New York City and Washington, D.C.” This means that the city will be on high alert making sure that this is a memorable trip for the royal couple.
Both Prince William and Princess Kate will be visiting the September 11 memorial and museum at the World Trade Center, and then Prince William will be taking a solo trip to Washington DC. While in DC, Prince William will be visiting the World Bank for an anti-corruption conference.
Kate will be putting her time in the city alone to good use by visiting a child development center with the city’s First Lady, Chirlane McCray, and going to a lunch to honor the city’s successful British community.
However, the trip isn’t all business for the royal couple, as they will be getting a glimpse into the world of New York sports when they attend a New York Nets game to support the collaboration with the Royal Foundation, United for Wildlife, and the NBA.
Make sure to keep your eyes peeled if in the city. You never know what Royal you may run in to!
