A suicide bomber in the Yahyakhil district of Afghanistan killed 45 people and wounded 60 at a volleyball game on Sunday.
Many would think that an event such as a volleyball game would be a safe place, but in the Middle East, there is danger all over.
This attack is possibly a response to Afghanistan’s decision to allow United States and NATO forces to remain in the country until after 2014. Yet, it is unusual for the Afghan people to plan an attack that killed such a large amount of people
The Taliban has admitted to the planning of this disaster, and this is not the first volleyball game attack they have administered. In 2010, a car bomber killed 30 people and wounded 52 while playing the popular game in Afghanistan–volleyball.
