On Friday, October 31st, IHA held many Halloween events and almost every student came to school in costume.
Some people put much effort into their costumes, and one winner from each homeroom was picked by volunteer judges to participate in the Halloween parade that took place in the afternoon.

“Halloween was really fun! Everyone had their own costumes and some people even made them themselves!” exclaims IHA freshman, Bridget Dimaano.
For the last hour of school, the entire student body went to the gym to have a Halloween pep rally. There was a Halloween parade where the winners from each homeroom walked around the gym for the final judging and received awards.
Then it was onto the competitions, as randomly selected people from each grade got called out to compete to win points. Some of the competitions included doughnut eating, guessing the teacher’s baby pictures, and Halloween candy guessing. The goal was for one grade to have the most points at the end. The seniors ended up victorious!
For an amazing end to the day, IHA’s Rock Band preformed. Everyone got out of their seats and was dancing. IHA really knows how to celebrate Halloween the best!
“I thought it was a really good performance for a high school Rock Band!” says IHA freshman, Alexa Ruperti.
“Halloween at IHA was very fun! It was really easy to participate in and had a fun and welcoming atmosphere, especially for someone like me who never got to celebrate Halloween before this year!” comments freshman, Kristen Valentine.
