Sophomore retreat was a big hit among the tenth graders this year. On September 24th, the class traveled to the Church of the Presentation in Saddle River to delve into all of the different ways of prayer.

Some of the stations that the girls got to experience were the labyrinth, confession, burdens, adoration, and reflections.

Each student had a favorite station that she really connected with. Emily Bernard enjoyed the station called Confessions because “Mrs. Suta helped to make confession not seem so scary, and [gave] us some relief.”

In addition to the stations, all of the girls attended mass. In true IHA tradition there was much singing and clapping, making it a day to remember.

The sophomore class would like to thank Sister Carol Ann for planning such a fun and insightful retreat for them, and cannot wait to go on retreat again next year.
